Antique Louis XV walnut fire screen c1770. Louis XV carved walnut fire screen with verdure tapestry panel, the frame with floral crest. The carving is superb. This solid walnut screen measures 39 and three quarter inches, by 25 and one half inches by 15 and one half inches.

Ashanti Chieftain's chair of wood and stretched hide, with hammered brass tack and bell shape applied decorations. This 19th century chair from the Ghana, in western Africa, shows in its form the influence of the Portuguese traders who were actively trading in the region in the 17th century. These chairs in original condition are rarely found. The Ashanti tribe is the largest tribe in Ghana, and one of the few matrilineal societies in Africa. Ashanti kings retained figurehead status after colonization, and even today great pride in the Ashanti King lives on in the tradition of the golden stool. This chair is all original. Just a few tacks are missing, and one side rail is pushed in a bit from use. Measures 30 inches high, 16 inches wide, 17 inches deep.

Georgian mahogany dumb waiter coffee table. This period Georgian dumb waiter was cut down years ago to a coffee table height. The table dates from 1820 and was made into a coffee table in the 1930's. The top measures 24 and three quarters inches across and the height is 19 and one quarter inches. This is the ultimate coffee table as period English dumb waiters sell for thousands of dollars.

This hand made hand carved period seventeenth century English blanket chest is all original with just a minor repair to the top of one of the lids edges. Measures 47 inches wide by 14 inches deep by 20 and one half inches high.. Book jack ends, and iron hinges. Just in from a Lewis Crescent Brighton England Estate. this piece was in the same family for generations. Rick old deep waxed finish.
