This Late Renaissance period antique "English oak draw table" has marquetry inlaid apron, carved edge molding, elongated melon turned legs, and molded stretchers. It measures 57 and three quarters inches long by 34 and one quarter inches wide and is 31 and one half inches high overall. The pull out, or draw, leaves each measure 25 and three quarters inches long. This Elizabethan period table is in good original as found estate condition, with various minor repairs having been done during its 300 year lifespan. First quarter of the 17th century.

This wonderful tavern table was deaccessioned from Winterthur. The Winterthur inventory number is in the drawer. All original top, legs,drawer and frame. The under slides that hold the original drawer and some glue blocks are the only pieces not original to the table. The patina is a rich delicious old worn waxed look, just what we like to see on early American country furniture. This tavern table measures 42 and one quarter inches wide by 33 inches deep by 28 inches high. The single drawer measures 22 and one quarter inches by 4 inches.

This Art Deco wardrobe or cloths cupboard is in mint condition with a hand rubbed finish. The veneers on the doors are bookmatched and quite striking. The doors work perfectly. Just in from a Chester CT estate. Measures 19 inches deep, 72 and one quarter inches high at both ends and 75 inches in the middle. Measures 46 and one quarter inches wide. The doors measure 33 and three quarters inches or 16 and and seven eighths inches each. Inside when the doors are closed measures 17 and one quarter inches deep and 43 inches wide. When both doors are completely open there is a 32 inches opening. The top separates from its 9 inch base.

Yew wood is strong and one of the most beautiful woods. This chair has a high back, cut out center splat and large bulbous turnings to its legs. Excellent condition. A very comfortable chair for anyone to sit in for long periods of time. Measures 45 and one half inches high to the top of its back,17 and one half inches to the top of its seat, 27 and one half inches to the top of its arms, 22 inches deep and 25 inches to the outside of its arms.

This set has never been re chromed. This set is for a museum or advanced Modern furniture collector, not meant for personal use.
