- - - - - - - - - - - - | American Victorian Rococo style Rosewood inlaid Bed c1860 Item # 5333 Click HERE to inquire about this item American Victorian Rococo style Rosewood inlaid Bed c1860. In our opinion this is the best American Rosewood bed from this period to ever come to market. The inlaid ovals in the footboard and headboard are in the reverse of one another, light and dark and dark and light. There is cross banked inlay in the headboard, footboard, and side rails. The quality of the rosewood in this bed is as good as it gets, with large wide pronounced rosewood pieces used all over. This antique rosewood bed measures 79 and one half inches tall, 66 inches wide with a 33 and one half inch high footboard, 85 and one half inches long. The interior area measures 58 inches by 79 and one half inches. The footboard is three and one half inches thick and the headboard has 6 inch round posts. The oval crest measures 14 and one half inches. A superb example of antique American rosewood furniture. Unsigned but obviously done by a master cabinet maker. Mint original condition
