Period American country grain painted lift top blanket chest c1750. The red grain paint on this blanket chest is just amazing, strong. vibrant and in mint condition. The form of this piece is exceptional, the feet are high off the floor and sides have large boot jack ends. Measures 40 and one half inches wide by 20 and one half inches deep and 35 and one quarter inches high.

American primitive pine blanket chest in original yellow paint c1780. The yellow grain paint on this blanket chest is a lovely muted color. The top is scrubbed. Measures 42 and one half inches wide by 18 inches deep and 32 and one quarter inches high. The front left bottom shirt has been replaced.
