Antique French Bergeres like this one are very hard to come by especially in this diminutive size. C1880. The chair measures 36 inches to the top of its back, 23 inches wide, 17 inches deep and 18 inches to the top of the seat.

- - - - - - - - - - - - | Period Antique American Federal Sideboard Item # 3591 Click HERE to inquire about this item Period Antique American Federal Sideboard, this Period American "Hepplewhite sideboard" dates from the late 18th to very early 19 century and is a rare size at 54 inches wide and 24 inches deep and 39 and three quarter inches high. This sideboard is in mint condition with an old warm finish. There is a fine line inlay down its long tapered legs and inset inlay around the edge of its single board mahogany top. Constructed from mahogany, secondary wood is pine set with hand made rose head nails and the drawers have wide hand cut dovetails and thick hand chamfered drawer bottoms. The hardware has been replace with good period reproductions which is quite normal. This is the first sideboard this size we have been able to offer for sale in our 30 years of selling fine period antiques. Just in from at Connecticut estate.
