Very fine 19th century French provincial canape, in the style of Louis XV. Hand carved walnut frame, cabriole legs, excellent clean condition. Upholstered in cream cotton jacquard. Measures 70" W x 25.5" D x 41" H to back x 18" H to seat.

Early primitive burl wood stand c1700
Unusual early European primitive burl wood stand, probably made circa 1700. The top is a 19.5" slab of burr or burl elm wood, banded all around. The shaft is a tree limb retaining its natural bark. The base is comprised of 4 iron feet strapped to the shaft. The table is strong, sturdy, and does not wobble. It is 28.25" high.

Federal 2 drawer work stand with brass inlay c1790
RARE Federal 2 drawer mahogany work stand with brass inlay. Both drawers are partially compartmented for storage of needlework implements and threads. Turned legs on original brass casters. Measures 18.25" W x 18" D x 28.75" H. Excellent condition. Under one of the inside doors there is an inscription which says; East Haven September 1853. It is my wish that my niece Ellin E Bradley shall have this work stand when she becomes of age to which 18 years old. James A Bradley and E A. Bradley
