Vintage matched set of twelve Thonet modern maple bentwood side chairs c1950 to 1960 just in from a CT estate. Each chair is very strong and comfortable. They are designed with a gentle spring to the backs and saddle carved seats making them comfortable to sit in for long periods of time. The original Thonet (1 Park Ave NY) paper labels are under most of the chairs. Each chair measures 32 inches to the top back, 17 inches to the top seat, and 15 inches wide and deep.

19th century Chinese hand carved serpent courting chair with dragon face arms. Courting chairs were common in Victorian parlors in the mid to late 19th century. This one is in excellent condition with its original finish. Measures 45 inches wide by 21 inches deep, 34 and one half inches high at the back and 17 and three quarters inches high at the seat.

Continental carved fruitwood glass front china cabinet with bird corners 1875. This china or display cabinet features four birds with defined feathers and ball and claw feet. Two are at the top right and left corners and two are at the base. The cabinet measures 65 inches wide by 70 and one half inches high and 22 and one half inches deep. There is also a drop drown storage compartment on the base. Made in two pieces with a single door.
